Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan gets UA certificate, film all set for October 10 release

Superstar Rajinikanth’s Vettaiyan was certified with a U/A certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The film’s trailer will release on October 2 and the movie is gearing up for a grand release on October 10 in multiple languages. Lyca Productions, the production house, made the announcement regarding the certification with a special poster. Directed by TJ Gnanavel, the film is a hard-hitting commercial entertainer.
Lyca Productions shared a poster and wrote, “The hunt is certified! VETTAIYAN gets the U/A stamp! Get ready for an action-packed extravaganza coming your way! #Vettaiyan Releasing on 10th October in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi & Kannada (sic).”

Reportedly, the film’s runtime now stands at around two hours and 43 minutes. The Censor Board suggested muting of cuss words and words such as Muslim, Sartharji, Neet and Doctor, among others.
Vettaiyan, directed by TJ Gnanavel, is a hard-hitting entertainer produced by Lyca Productions. The film’s ensemble cast includes Rajinikanth, Amitabh Bachchan, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier, Ritika Singh and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles. The film will hit theatres on October 10 across the globe.
